You have done all previous steps to complete your new term setup but you need to do one more step - Making your courses Started. This needs to be done just before first lesson of your term starts.
This settings will activate pro-rating of price based on remaining lessons and also auto-enroll new students into lessons.
You have do it following ways:
1.changing status of earch course individually
2.changing status of selected courses in bulk
Change status of single course
Navigate at the right side of the row of paricular course and click on the status. It will expand all statuses and just click on Started to immediately change the status.
Change status of selected courses in bulk
This action simplify you work and allow to active all course with single click.
1. step - Select all relevant courses and in field Bulk Actions select 'Change status'.
2. step - On the right side will appearch new field to select status you want to set for all selected courses. Choose 'In progress'
3. step - Click on 'Run' to apply changes immediately.
Courses are started if they all have status started on the right seach of each course.
